a vine that grew over the city and no one noticed is precision machined Americana heard through the ears of the electromechanical banjo. It is performed on a mechanically prepared banjo with magnetic resonators, solenoid motors, AM radio transmitters, handheld radio, railroad spikes, carriage bolts, Markov-driven three-finger banjo picking, and a neural net generated resynthesis of The Carter Family's Will the Circle Be Unbroken (1935) as "performed" by the reanimated & digitized models of Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Hank Williams, Charley Pride, and many other singers long since departed to "the by and by".

Hjalti Nordal and Hugi Kjartansson are friends and composers. In 2021 they joined forces to try to make it big on TikTok. They failed, but the consequence is a series of surreal and ear-grating videos exploring performance art and experimental music through the lens of content creation. On this event they will do the opposite and investigate the strangest and most bewildering corners of social media in a live performance setting.
